Here are a couple of snapshots of our new bass player Helge in my home-studio. I was thrilled he brought his Höfner bass from the 60´s!

BrassWind

Saturday we played Logen Theater as a part of the BrassWind Festival and great fun was had by all!

The concert also served as our new bass players debut. A warm welcome to Helge Haugland!

Hulen 14.Mai

Scotoma is doing a double concert with Ophelia Hope who have released their debut album this week.
It will take place in legendary rock club Hulen in Bergen and the tickets are only 60 norwegian kroner each!

Scotomas brand new blogspot!

We´re currently working on new material to fill out our repertoire and a couple of songs are coming on nicely!

I´ll post some samples at a later date.

Other news:

Magnus just won the Norwegian national brass band championship (again) with the wonderful Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag, Haldis helped Tertnes Brass win the 1st section and Manger Musikklag played my new piece "Troglodyte Transition" so a good weekend was had by all!

(I´m not exactly sure what Ugo was up to but i´m sure he was swinging at a jazz club or something)
